Times are hard... let's make soft things together!
Join us for another edition of pOm for the peOple! – a space to craft in community, create a moment of joy, and pass it on to the next person! Led by Karyn Lao, learn how to make pompoms and be part of a community-activated installation.
This is also the ~soft launch~ of From Here to Sunday's workshop space! We're excited to start sharing classes offered by our wonderful community. But we need your help! We'll be fundraising in order to properly set up the space to regularly host small creative gatherings.
If you want to help by making a contribution, we accept tips via Venmo (@heretosunday) or donate to our ongoing GoFundMe campaign. Thank you!

About the Artist
Karyn Lao is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY who explores the pompom as an object that represents community— many pieces connected by a common thread. Her work is a potpourri of colorful forms and textures, a reminder to find joy while moving through the world. She also makes interactive inflatable sculptures as ½ of collaborative duo, Mookntaka! Whether it be sculpting inflatables, creating fun jewelry, or crafting pOm•parties, the heart of Karyn’s work is to bring people together and connect through play.
