Chris Deng: Collage Sesh (OCT 5)

Revitalize your creative practice with collaging! Together we’ll explore different analog collage techniques, create our own unique pieces, and walk away with a prompt to complete at home. Our facilitator, Chris Deng, will guide you through the process, offering tips and questions to muse upon while we make meaning together. 

All skill levels are welcome. This workshop is open to anyone 12 years and up.

All materials and tools included. Refreshments provided.

Chris Deng (she/they) is a writer and multidisciplinary artist born and based in New York. They are the author of "A Journey Ahead", a bilingual collection of personal histories from seven Chinese American older adults residing in Two Bridges, Manhattan. She's worked with artists, activists, and community orgs to confront and rework stories of grief, resistance, and collective memory. You can usually catch her running around in Chinatown, exchanging gossip with elders.
